Empowering HERstory webinar showcases female leadership

Titled "Empowering HERstory – women´s empowerment and leadership", we will be joined by three speakers who will all also be addressing the 2024 Women's Handball Conference in Vienna in December. 

Dr Jacqueline Mueller, PhD is a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Sport Business and Leadership at Loughborough University London; Nora Kaalstad is an Executive Board Member at the Norwegian Handball Federation and Jamila Boulhimsse is responsible for the Female Officials Department within the refereeing committee at the French Handball Federation.

With the panellists bringing their expertise from a variety of roles related to handball and sport more broadly, this webinar will benefit anyone connected to officiating, coaching, running clubs and organisations, sports business, management and more.

Running between 14:00-15:00 CEST, the webinar, moderated by the EHF's Noemi Szecsenyi, will see a panel discussion on the following topics:

• the current situation of women in leadership positions in handball
• where could we position female leaders in current society?
• what are the challenges and the strategies of the speakers for overcoming preconceptions and/or stereotypes?

As with all EHF Webinars, it will be free to attend and participants will be able to put their questions to the experts.
