Karabatic: Never expected to play Olympics at age 40

Nikola Karabatic, now 40 years of age, could become the first handball player to contest six Olympic Games and the first to win gold four times. On the club level, the French legend has already celebrated his farewell match, with PSG, in front of 15,000 spectators in Paris-Bercy Arena. Now, Karabatic looks to his last dance, in Paris and then in Lille, where the Olympic handball tournament will enter the home straight from the quarter-finals.

Now I feel lucky to be fighting for a place in the squad. There is no greater highlight than the Olympics at home.
