Malestein's game
Angela Malestein has featured in the EHF Champions League Women for more than 12 seasons and been one of the standouts for FTC-Toyota Kovács. The experienced right wing has built a vast repertoire over the years, but does not complicate things on court — thinking too much is something Malestein would rather avoid.
KIKO COSTA'S GAME
Francisco "Kiko" Costa has set some high goals for himself. The Sporting right back entered the big time with a bang, quickly transforming from rising star to outright star in the EHF Champions League. "For now, I am just half a player. I do good, but I am only a 'half player,'" he says.
MAIROT'S GAME
In just a few years, Clarisse Mairot has become a household name in the EHF Champions League. The left back has scored 161 goals in two seasons in Europe’s top flight since joining Brest Bretagne in 2024, and is a pillar in the France national team. Mairot talks about her trademark skills and speed.
