Aalborg Håndbold, runners-up to Barça in both 2021 and 2024, have been given the honour to host the first MOTW in the new season.
The Danish side welcome another former finalist, HBC Nantes, for their group B encounter on Wednesday 11 September at 18:45 CEST – the first time slot on the opening night of the new season.
A week later, Nantes will shine in the MOTW spotlights again when the French team take on Industria Kielce – the only former titleholders (2016) to feature in the MOTW schedule for the first three rounds. The clash in western France on Wednesday 18 September throws off at 20:45 CEST.
The last MOTW in the month September is another Polish-French duel, though with two different clubs: Orlen Wisla Plock will host Paris Saint-Germain Handball in group A on Thursday 26 September at 20:45 CEST.
All MOTW games are streamed live on EHFTV with English commentary and receive extensive coverage including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage across all EHF Champions League social media channels as well as on the live blog running on eurohandball.com.
