Call for Designers: Create the Official Look for the EHF FINAL4

After three amazing years, the Merchandise Design Contest is back in 2026 – and this time, it’s your turn! We are inviting designers, illustrators and creative professionals to participate and submit their ideas for official merchandise for the EHF FINAL4 events: the TruckScout24 EHF FINAL4 in Cologne and EHF FINAL4 Women in Budapest.

Your Mission – should you choose to accept:

Create the official merch for the biggest handball showdown of the year — the EHF FINAL4. This isn’t just any merch. It’s THE merch. The one fans will wear while screaming their lungs out in the arena and posting victory selfies for years to come.

How it works:

  • 11 November 2025: Contest opens – submit your design!
  • 4 January 2026: Submission deadline – upload your artwork via the form below
  • 9-13 January 2026: Fan voting – the best designs will be open for the public voting

What’s in it for You:

  • Look amazing on anyone — from die-hard fans to couch coaches.
  • Be original, fearless, and full of creative flair. (No pressure.)

What and How to Upload your Artwork: 

  • Mockup of your design: Please place your design on a mockup shirt, so that we could also visualize how do you see your design on the merchandise.
  • Type of file: For the first step of your submission please upload a pdf file of your whole artwork and the mockup file.
  • If selected: If you are the chosen one, we will require an open file (ai, eps, psd, or svg format).

FAQs

If you make it to the "thank you" slide of the application form everything is in order and your designs entered the contest. If you have further questions, please reach out to handball@ehfmarketing.com.

The contest is open for persons of all ages. However, persons under the age of 18 are required to obtain consent from their parents or legal guardians. Documented consent must be submitted with the entry.

There is no need to create two designs, but you have the option as well. In previous seasons one creative idea and artwork was used for both event designs. If you already have a clear concept of the variation for both events, we invite you to share those within your application.

The EHF Marketing GmbH will decide on the best designs which will be then put up for a public voting process. 

All designs are welcome! You can either draw or design something with a program. The designs can be freely created without sticking to our corporate design, but you can use the components of our design.

Shortlisted participants will be notified within a few days after the submission deadline.
