Budapest is, with around 1.7 million inhabitants, not only the largest city in Hungary, but also the capital of the Central European country. Thanks to its history, the city has a lot to offer.
Budapest is one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. Many sights can be seen here, such as the Budapest Castle, former residence of the Hungarian kings, where different museums can be found today.
Already since 2014, Budapest has been the venue of the EHF FINAL4s Women. The best teams in European women club handball will continue to come to Hungary’s capital to fight for the title after the partnership was extended until 2024.
MVM Dome Budapest
The 2022 edition of the EHF FINAL4 Women on 4/5 June 2022 will for the first time ever take place in the MVM Dome in Budapest, Hungary.
The brand-new multifunctional sports arena is Europe’s largest handball arena with an amazing capacity of approximately 20.000 spectators. Not only has the newly built arena a unique dynamic façade, but fans will also experience a state-of-the-art indoor facility with a natural elegance.
The Budapest Handball Arena will serve as spectacular setting for the EHF FINAL4 Women event in June and will elevate the competition to new heights. Never before have the four best teams of the season competed in front of so many spectators. All four participants and fans can look forward to a unique atmosphere, thrilling match action and unforgettable experiences.
