Türkiye has been the host country for two beach handball events in 2023 – the YAC17 Beach Handball EURO (Izmir) and the ebt Finals (Antalya). The host city for the next year's edition, Alanya, has experience with major beach handball competitions, as it was also involved in the organisation of the EHF Beach Handball EURO 2004.
Both competitions are scheduled to take place in Alanya in July next year, with the YAC event being the first one to take the stage, between 3-6 July 2025, followed by the EHF Beach Handball EURO 2025 between 8-13 July 2025.
All the national federations will be able to register their teams for the EHF YAC17 Beach Handball EURO 2025 in January 2025, following the first come-first serve principle.
The senior competition will feature 16 teams for each gender category, as follows:
Women's competition:
- host country – Türkiye
- the qualified European teams from the World Championship 2024 – Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Greece and Denmark
- the qualified teams from the Beach Handball Championships 2024 – Hungary, France, Sweden, Ukraine, Croatia, Slovakia, Poland and Bulgaria
Men's competiton:
- host Country – Türkiye
- the qualified European teams from the World Championship 2024 – Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Spain and Croatia
- the qualified teams from the BH Championships 2024 – Poland, Sweden, France, Norway, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Italy, Czechia and Malta
