There have been some changes for the Machineseeker EHF Champions League with Croatia climbing six places, from 14th to 8th, and Romania climbing from 11th to 7th rank, which guarantees one Croatian and one Romanian team direct entry to Europe’s premier club competition.
In total, nine direct places are awarded to the Machineseeker EHF Champions League. Seven places are open for upgrades.
For the EHF Champions League Women there have been no changes compared to the previous season’s place distribution.
For Russia, only the last season in which Russian teams participated (2021/22) was taken into consideration, and the average points were calculated accordingly.
Russia are ranked sixth, however, given they are not admitted to participate until further notice, only eight places to the EHF Champions League Women will be awarded directly. Subsequently, eight upgrades will be available.
All fixed places are subject to meeting the requirements for registration to the EHF Champions League.
