Esbjerg travel to Hungary with high ambitions and a desire to show what they’re capable of after they missed out on a place in the final last year, following a narrow loss against Györ (24:23). Tomas Axnér came at Esbjerg’s helm this summer and is ready to reach new heights with his team.

The summer break has officially ended, which means that Europe’s top teams are back and ready to fight for the coveted trophy. All 16 teams hope to start the season the right way and grab two points in the opening round, but only some of them will get to celebrate this weekend.
