Watch Me Win — the official song of Women's EHF EURO 2026 is released

Watch Me Win is a sporting anthem carrying a message of female strength — and an invitation to the Women’s EHF EURO 2026, which will take place in December across five countries: Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Romania and Türkiye.

Presented by singer and songwriter Celeste Buckingham, Watch Me Win is the first official song of an EHF EURO or any other European sporting championship to be performed by a Slovak artist.

Handball fans can celebrate 100 days until the start of the Women's EHF EURO 2026 on 3 December with the release of the music video for Watch Me Win, performed by Celeste and directed by Michal Nemtuda.

Watch Me Win was the first of the demo versions Celeste prepared for the European championship — and in the end it was the one that stuck: "It didn’t surprise me at all that it became the favourite. It’s an upbeat track built on the instruments you expect to hear at a match, yet its lyrics carry a message about female strength," explains Celeste.

The Slovak singer also embraces her role as the music ambassador: "Being the ambassador of something that actively supports women and gives them a platform to show their talent makes me incredibly happy. It’s my cup of tea."

Even though the song references sport, its core lies elsewhere. "It’s a song more for women — about female strength and irresistibility, which is even stronger when we support one another," the singer adds.

The music video was shot by director Michal Nemtuda in a sports arena, and its central theme is the strength of women in sport. The video features dancers from the Neytiri group, who — in the jerseys and with the flags of the individual countries — portray the handball players of the participating nations.

“In my view, Michal is one of the most talented directors we have in Slovakia. The video’s concept is 99% his doing,” says Celeste. Nemtuda also praises the collaboration on the anthem: “I was glad that one of our own is making the anthem for an event like this,” he admits.

The song is also an invitation to the Women's EHF EURO 2026 for everyone who hasn’t followed handball so far. "The title of the song says it for me — Watch Me Win, come and watch us win. Come and see the amazing, strong women who devote almost their whole lives to one sport. They deserve your attention and support," concludes Celeste Buckingham.
