The start of the game was complicated, but we grew during the match and we are happy with the final result. We played a good game, scoring 40 goals, so we did a good job.

I am really pleased with our performance today. In the first half, we played very well in defence and with a lot of variety in attack. We got a tough start in the second half and were three goals behind, but we really showed good morale when we turned it around and won.

We knew that in Latvian handball changes are happening. They have changed coach and their style. Latvia does not have big stars in the team, but the team were competitive and tough, especially in the first half. In the second half, we played better in both offence and defence. We have had two games and we came out with two victories. Everything is done perfectly and we are looking forward to games against France. We know they are favourites in our group, but we are trying to do our best.

We chose the hard way today. In the beginning, we played very well and had a lead of four goals until the Belgians traded their goalkeeper for an extra player. That caused us a lot of problems. They scored easily and their goalkeeper played a good game. Until the end of the match, we had to fight for it. We managed to win this match without character.
