The M18 EHF Championship II in Pristina, Kosovo, saw the following four of the seven participants advance to the semi-finals: Belgium against Georgia, and Luxembourg against Kosovo.
Belgium started in group I with a 29:26 win over hosts Kosovo and a 40:16 drubbing of Azerbaijan before securing the group win by edging out Bulgaria 27:26 in their final group match.
Kosovo recovered exceptionally well from their opening loss, as they claimed two 17-goal wins to secure the second place in the group: 37:20 against Bulgaria and 44:27 against Azerbaijan.
Both Luxembourg and Georgia defeated the third team in group II, Great Britain, to claim their semi-final places, and Luxembourg did so as group winners after beating Georgia 36:33 in the last match.
