Making her debut for the Swedish national team in 2010 and playing at the highest level with Vipers Kristiansand, Jamina Roberts is used to the pressure of starring on the biggest international stages. After winning the EHF Champions League Women in 2023 and grabbing one silver and one bronze medal at the European championship, in 2010 and 2014 respectively, the experienced 34-year-old player has her eyes set on the Women's EHF EURO 2024 trophy.
The Swedish left back has represented her country in over 200 matches and has proved herself as a key player on court, so it came as no surprise when she became the captain of the national team.
Reaching success and achieving her goals has not been an easy task for Roberts, who has had to overcome plenty of obstacles in her professional career. In this mini-documentary, the Swedish player talks about how she dealt with the loss of a close family member and opens up about facing racism over the years.
